Texture from the Alps, clear in the glass.

South Tyrol, three ingredients: water, malt & attitude

FREEDL originates in Lana, South Tyrol, from a desire for clarity in glass. Instead of adhering to categories, the team, led by Maria-Elisabeth Laimer, focuses on origin, texture, creative compositions, and modern techniques.

Mash, wort, cold maturation: precisely constructed

Craft beer setup, Italian Lana: traditional mashing and wort preparation, targeted hopping, followed by cold maturation for texture and precision. Brewed with Alpine spring water, regional malt, and select local ingredients. FREEDL's innovative brewing process sharpens the raw material aromas—the alcohol recedes, the character remains fresh and clean.

FREEDL deliberately works in small batches and views the brewery as a place of enjoyment: close to the guest, close to the kitchen. The beers exhibit a gentle bitterness, clean fermentation aromas, and a light grain in the malt – built to complement food and frame moments, not overpower them.

Fine perlage, tea-like texture

The new Sparkling Tea Amantè expands the FREEDL world with a composition featuring delicate perlage and a clear tea structure.

Character-defining extracts, gentle fermentation, and light carbonation create a fresh herbal profile, bright citrus notes, and a clean finish. Made for aperitifs and light cuisine – a lovely complement to beers.
