Let me preface this by saying that "no/low" always leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste for us. In everyday language, we tend to hide that one word that actually provides the explanation – "alcohol." Drinks without or with very little of it. A bit like a memorial. But it also offers a clue as to where the movement comes from – a crisis, a seriously questionable consumption situation, a market gap?

For us, and we're being completely honest about it, it was the questionable nature of consumption (and the resulting market gap). Between the youthful excesses on weekends in Berlin (Lucas) or in the rural East Westphalian countryside (Friederike) and the bottle of wine after work (5 out of 7 days a week), there are 10 to 15 years of hard-earned drinking. Until the "hard cut." Pulling the emergency brake. Stopping consumption – and then what? As people who celebrate a drink in the evening, there was initially very little to show for it. Much research later, we discovered an industry that was building up beneath the surface. And it's growing. And we want to help it grow.

As a sommelier (Friederike) and a marketing expert (Lucas), it quickly became clear that synergies existed between them. Lucas's initial idea and founding of the company in 2024 became a joint venture the following year.

Curated, separating the wheat from the chaff, close to the producers, and with aromas and structures that open new doors.

We are the modern drinking culture – the focus on quality, taste, history, diversity – with full attention and accessible to everyone.
