Selection & Expertise

OUR PERSPECTIVE

The younger sibling – the white Embrizzo – has expanded Gut Hardegg's portfolio, and we're absolutely thrilled about it. The white is a perfect introduction (for those who find the red a bit too intense thanks to its zero grams of sugar). Elderflower and lemon verbena, along with Grüner Veltliner, are the key flavor protagonists here. It has true wine character, but so much more.

Gut Hardegg - Embrizzo White (2025) BEHIND THE SCENE'S

PRODUCTION

The base is made from organically grown Grüner Veltliner grapes. After fermentation and dealcoholization, the wine is combined with grape juice and prepared for kombucha fermentation. The natural fermentation process is refined with herbs and blossoms – lemon balm, elderflower, hops, lemongrass, lavender, chamomile, orange mint, anise, and yarrow.
